The mission of NMSU-A is to provide quality learning opportunities for individuals in the diverse communities we serve.

NMSU-A’s resources, structures, and processes are sufficient to fulfill its mission and support its values. Assessment and review processes focus on improvement of quality educational offerings. Planning activities include review of community needs, student learning assessment, program assessments, and financial realities. NMSU-A includes all of these in planning for the future.
