Freshman… it’s time for INTAKES & CHOICES!
Posted January 28, 2009 by Jeremy
For those of you who are freshman, Advising has been implementing a project that involves you taking the CHOICES assessment and a freshman intake session. Now, for those of you who are unfamiliar, the CHOICES planner is an online career assessment that allows you to discover your vocational personalities based on your likes, dislikes, values and goals. When finished with the assessment, CHOICES will categorize your occupational qualities and suggests careers that fit your aspirations. The intake session allows freshman to sit down with an advisor and cover a variety of topics that are pertinent to all freshman.
See an advisor now to learn how to access the planner online and schedule an intake. Once you have finished, an advisor can also help interpret your results and lift the CHOICES hold placed on all freshman accounts. For more info call Advising in Students Services at 439-3720.
