Placement Test Hours

If you plan to take any mathematics course (MATH or CCDM) or any of the following English courses: CCDE105N, CCDE110N, or ENGL111, you must take the Placement Test prior to registration.  The placement tests will be waived if you have passed the required pre-requisite course with a grade of “C” or better.
Placement tests are given on a drop-in basis.    No charge for tests.

ALL TESTS MUST BE STARTED NO LATER THAN
2-1/2 HOURS PRIOR TO CLOSING. 
Picture ID Required.
TESTS CAN BE TAKEN DURING THE FOLLOWING HOURS

English & Math combo – 2.5 hrs English only – 1.5 hrs Math only – 1.0 hrs.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If the student has not taken a math or an English course in more than 3 years, it is recommended he/she take the placement exam regardless of the grade in the prerequisite course. English placement test can be waived for students with an ACT score of 18 (or SAT min. score of 450) on the verbal section.
