Basic Eligibility Requirements: The Financial Aid Office provides information for workstudy positions on and off campus. Students must have a completed financial aid file, a 2.0 continuing GPA, and be enrolled at least half-time each semester to be eligible for workstudy. First semester Freshmen must have a 3.0 high school GPA, and GED recipients must establish a college GPA.

Advising
Title: Career Center/ Academic Advising
Duties: Maintaining and updating files, organization of Career Center library. Assist student with job search and choices. Create documents, flyers, and presentations.
Qualifications: Skill with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Publisher
Pay: $7.50/hr (20 hours per week)

Facilities
Title: Office Assistant
Duties: Mail, receiveing, duplicating, answering the phone.
Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. General office skills (computer, copier, and phones). Professional etiquette. Able to work alone or with large groups of people (internal or external). Good time management skills. Able to represent the department and university in a positive and professional manner.
Pay: $7.50/hr (20 hours per week)

Facilities-Physical Plant
Title: Maintenance Aide
Duties: Maintain vehicles: vacuum, wash, check fluid levels. Assist regular employees with the duties of changing light bulbs, moving and hauling furniture and equipment as needed; prepare designated areas to paint, clean, remove, and replace carpet and tile as needed; minor plumbing and other related jobs.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; able to work alone or with other maintenance staff; able to represent the department in a positive manner.
Pay: $7.50/hr (20 hrs. per week)

Math, Science, and Technology
Title: Chemistry Laboratory Aide
Duties:Storing all supplies and equipment for labs, taking out and putting up lab supplies, this includes cleaning dishes and glassware. Retrieve and store chemicals in storeroom.

NMSU-A HAFB
Title: Work-Study
Duties: Answer phone, assist military personnel, spouses, dependents, civilians with admissions applications, tuition waivers, tuition assistance, general office and clerical duties.
Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal communications skills. Knowledge of NMSU Banner System, basic computer knowledge and software programs (powerpoint, excel, windows, etc..) Basic knowledge of office equipment. Basic knowledge of NMSU-A policies and procedures.
Pay: $7.50/hr (20 hrs. per week)

Office of the Vice President for Student Services
Title: Office Aide
Duties: Include but not limited to: Miscellaneous computer data entry, filing, folding letters, brochures, labeling and sorting, running errands on campus, photocopying, shredding, and other duties as assigned. Position will report directly to the exeutive secretary.
Qualifications: Looking for a friendly, motivated, professional and organized person. Must be a team player. Must have good computer skills. Experience with Excel and Word perferred.
