If you have ever heard a presentation by these two men, you know you are in for a treat, even though the subject is a sad one. Tears in the Darkness; The Batan Death March in Historical Context is a non-credit class. This class centers around Tears in the Darkness, a major new book about World War II and the first major land battle: the brutal fight for the Philippine peninsula of Bataan. There are four copies of the book available at the Townsend Library ready for check-out. Read the book early, and prepare now to participate.
