Course Description: Caravan to Carlsbad Caverns, arriving at lunch time.  After lunch, experience a personalized tour of Carlsbad Caverns, a limestone cave and a natural wonder of New Mexico (approx. 3 hours).  Then travel to Parks Ranch Cave, a wild gypsum cave in the Carlsbad area. Here you will explore the longest gypsum cave in the US.  Thursday morning will include more exploration at Parks Ranch Cave.  Optional activities include evening bat flight at Carlsbad Caverns and camping with fellow cavers.  This is primitive camping, and no facilities are available at Parks Ranch Cave.  You will need to bring a change of clothing and shoes for both tours of Parks Ranch Cave. No meals will be included. Students 18 and under must be accompanies by parent/guardian. (1 session)

Supplies: There will be a $10 fee for entrance to Carlsbad Caverns. Helmets, headlights, gloves and knee pads will be provided for Parks Ranch Cave.  A list of additional gear will be available later.
