Knitting for the Holidays

In one day you will create a scarf for yourself or for holiday giving. There are two options: a conventional scarf (as shown on the left side of the image), or an unconventional scarf (as shown on the right). Both styles are quick and easy to make. Students will need to supply their own needles and specialty yarn. Bring a sack lunch.  (1 session)

Supplies: One set of no. 35 needles (very big) and some yarn.  This turns out best with a fun yarn like the green scarf.  One skein of yarn is probably plenty for any of the two styles.
