Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

In this classroom-based course, providers learn a system of critical care procedures for facilities, such as the intensive care nursery, for the basic and advanced treatment of seriously ill or injured infants and children. It includes the neonatal resuscitation program as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Heart Association. Identify and respond to life threatening pediatric emergencies.
Prerequisite: Current BLS certificate and consent of instructor.
Required textbook: PALS Provider manual.
Two year certificate and lab fee $15
