After sunset, the everyday world is magically transformed.  This summer join photographer/instructor Steve Christman for nighttime photography at the White Sands. Low light levels make night photography a challenging subject, but here you will create amazing photographs using artificial and natural star light during this new moon weekend. Indoor lectures as well as outdoor field lectures will include sunset and night time photography sessions.  Limit of 15 participants.  Cost is $200 per person for this workshop.

Photographers will work with the creative and fun techniques used in photographing nightscapes. Colored acrylic, simple flash, and long exposures make very dynamic images. The best results require specialized equipment, like SLR cameras, tripods, cable releases and flashguns.
