Henrietta Stockel

Ms. Stockel, currently living in Tularosa, has written 12 books and over 60 articles on the history and culture of peoples of the southwest.  While living in Sierra Vista, AZ from 1997-2008, she taught Chiricahua Apache Culture and History at Cochise College. She gained expertise while working for the UNM Health Sciences Center Library from 1992-1997 as a special projects bibliographer on Native American health history from 1625-1965.
