Pete Eidenbach

Pete Eidenbach is a well known anthropologist specializing in the White Sands and Tularosa Basin human history. He is a historian, preservation planner and teacher whose career has focused on the archaeology, history and traditions of southern New Mexico. Pete teaches anthropology, historic preservation, history and philosophy of science, and Native American studies at NMSU Alamogordo and is a certified instructor for the New Mexico Intrigue of the Past. A specialist in the history of White Sands for over 40 years, this anthropologist will lead you to areas of the Sands that are rarely available to the public.
