Planning to earn a Bachelor’s of Science Degree?

Primarily a transfer degree, NMSU-A’s Associate of Science Degree is a flexible two-year program that prepares you for a bachelor’s degree in one of the natural sciences in:

  • Pre-health leading to the medical and dental fields
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Geology
  • Physics…

This degree requires a heavy concentration of science courses and meets all the lower level New Mexico Common Core requirements necessary to complete a bachelor’s degree. If you have chosen a specific major, meet with your advisor to choose elective credits to meet the requirements of that major. NMSU-Alamogordo offers a wide range of courses designed to meet associate degree requirements and build the academic foundation to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree.
