John Haley

Professor of History

M.A., New Mexico State University

Mr. Haley is a native of Alamogordo, and, at one time, he was also a student here at NMSU-A. He holds a bachelor’s degree in History and two master’s degrees (one in European History and one in Literary Criticism), all from New Mexico State University.  He was hired by NMSU-A in 1990 when his predecessor, Dr. David H. Townsend, retired.  Mr. Haley is a member of the Classical Association of the Middle West and South (CAMWS).  In 2002 and 2006, he was listed in Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.
