Background

Lynette Wedig was born and raised in South Texas, graduated from Del Mar Junior College with an Associates Degree, Texas A&I University with a BS in Education, and from Texas State University with a Master of Education. She taught 22 years in high schools in the San Antonio area, moved to Cloudcroft when she and her husband retired from teaching, owned and operated the Cabins at Cloudcroft for six years, and then moved to the High Rolls area. She has held several positions at NMSU-A: writing center tutor, math lab instructor, Developmental English instructor, Education instructor, and Work Force Trainer. She is currently a full time instructor in the math department and coordinates the Developmental Math courses and labs. In her spare time she plays with Earl and the Dynamics, a seven piece band who plays Dixie, Light Jazz, and Light Swing.
