Mary Ellen Keith received a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Texas at Austin (1968) and a doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston’s Bates College of Law (1970).  In addition to private practice, she served in the Texas Attorney General’s Office, the Criminal Justice Division of the Governor’s Office of Texas, the Texas State Commission on Judicial Conduct, and the 12th Judicial District of New Mexico.  She began teaching at NMSU-A in Spring 2005.
