NMSU-A Alum Wins Photography Award
September 5, 2008
Diana Hay, a 2002 NMSU-A graduate, was awarded Honorable Mention in the 2008 International Photography Awards Competition for three of her entries. The IPA (see http://photoawards.com) receives thousands of entries each year from around the globe, and its mission is to salute the achievements of the world’s finest photographers, to discover new and emerging talent, and to promote the appreciation of photography. Diana is a military spouse from Holloman AFB and is planning to open her studio in Alamogordo soon. Diana’s work being recognized at one of the world’s most prestigious competitions is quite an honor. Last year she placed 9th in the Venice International Photography Competition and is now being published in one of the most prestigious books in the world, the Lucie Awards Book 2008.
