Student Center gets a Facelift
New paint (Go Aggies Crimson), new carpet, new tile, new windows, new tables and chairs and reorganization of space usage – anyone visiting the NMSU-A Student Center building for the first time will not know what was “before.” Those returning will be amazed and pleased with the changes.
The space that was once offices for student organizations has been converted to a student conference room, complete with a large conference table and executive-style chairs. The original student conference room has been remodeled into a veterans lounge. The Office of Veterans Educational Services will relocate to the office space located inside the T.V. room. Charles Turpin, NMSU-A’s Veterans Services Coordinator, will be moving into that office space within a week.
Even the pool tables had a facelift!
The “Bistro” will continue to operate 8:00 am-4:00 pm (closed 2:30-3:00) as the campus oasis for students who want that snack or beverage before or after classes.
