Opportunity for a Career Track with the USDA Forest Service

Attention students interested in Forestry, Wildlife, Range and Environmental Sciences!

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) wants to put students who plan careers in natural resource fields on a Career Track leading to future employment with the USDA Forest Service. Interviews for participating in the program will be scheduled on the NMSU-A campus on Tuesday, January 31 in the Student Services Building, Room 203. Students selected for the program will have the opportunity to receive:

  • Career Mentoring
  • Advising for pursuing a 4-year degree in a natural resource field
  • Paid summer internships
  • Career path with the USDA Forest Service
  • Field courses in the Southwest US and in Belize
  • Semester Exchange Program with the University of Puerto Rico
