NMSU-A Commencement Ceremony May 11, 2012

New Mexico State University Alamogordo will hold its Thirty-Fifth Annual Commencement Ceremony at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 11, 2012 at the NMSU Alamogordo Tays Center. Ceremonies are open to the public.

Of the 289 graduate applicants, those attending the ceremony will receive their commencement address from The Honorable Ron Griggs, Former Mayor of the City of Alamogordo, New Mexico. Elizabeth Driggers, a representative from United States Senator, Tom Udall’s office, and Mr. Ty Trujillo, Executive Director of the New Mexico Association of Community Colleges will also be present at this year’s commencement program.

The graduates will receive associate degrees in Arts, Associate of Science, Biomedical Electronics Technology, Criminal Justice, Education, Fire Science, General Studies, Art and Graphic Design, Information Technology, Nursing, Occupational Business, Paralegal Studies, Pre-business and Social Services.

Graduates, who are receiving their Bachelor of Science Degrees in Elementary Education, through the Distance Learning program at New Mexico State University, will also be participating in the graduation ceremony.

The public is cordially invited to attend.
