Due to curriculum changes with course prefixes, it was determined that we should be teaching AHS 120 (formerly OEHO 120) Medical Terminology – not the HIT 150 A20 that was scheduled for the summer 2012 session. Therefore, HIT 150 A20 (CRN 22230) has been cancelled and AHS 120 A20 (CRN 22304) has been added. So if you need a Medical Terminology class this summer, please register for AHS 120 A20 (CRN 22304). It is a web-based class that meets the entire summer session, and the instructor is Dr. Ray Nejeres.

That’s right! If you would like to help a student, give a dollar and receive two dollars worth of value, thanks to Title V. Title V of the Education Act allows for the improvement of Hispanic-serving institutions.
It does so in several ways. The first way is in curriculum development in developmental education and technical education areas. Another way is in its assistance toward the financial stability of an institution. This is the endowment portion whereby every dollar donated to the NMSU-A Foundation is matched by Title V to make it two dollars to the Foundation.
During the first 20 years, ½ of the earned interest can be used for scholarships for Hispanic and low-income students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM). After 20 years, the total funds revert to the Foundation.
If you would like to be a part of this worthwhile effort, contact Jary Rupe at 439-3664.
All NMSU-A students are invited to take a much deserved break from finals and enjoy a Free lunch on Thursday, May 10, 2012, 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the Glass House.
It is sponsored by Campus Christian Fellowship. Subs, chips and drinks will be provided.
We hope to see you there!
