On Tuesday, August 7th, staff from Student Services came together for an informational session about Dual Credit in the Student Services Building on the NMSUA campus. Students and their parents were invited to attend a brief session to answer any questions they have about the Dual Credit program and what it means to a high school student pursuing college credits. In addition, local high school counselors and key NMSUA personnel attended, bringing to the meeting important information about the approved classes students can take at NMSU-A.

The evening began with Dr. Juan Garcia, Vice President of Student Services, opening the meeting with words of encouragement about the program. He then turned over the reigns to Rose Pena, Dual Credit Advisor, and Jeremy Patton, Recruitment Coordinator, who gave short presentations about Dual Credit. Afterwards, the floor was opened to questions from parents and students. Several NMSUA officials were present to answer questions, including division heads Dr. Joyce Hill, Ms. Cathy Aguilar-Morgan and Mr. Bryan Yancey.
