James Flores receives HACU Conference Scholar Award.

James P. Flores, a Biomedical Technology student at NMSU-A, is the recipient of the HACU Conference Scholar Award which pays for travel, accommodations, and recreational activities to the HACU Conference in Washington, D.C., October 20-22. In addition, James will attend leadership and career training workshops and meet with Washington D.C. industry professionals and politicians. James is the first NMSU-A student to win this award.

James is currently pursuing his Associate Degree in Biomedical Technology, another in Information Technology, and a third in Electronics Technology. After earning his degrees, he would like to work in a hospital, preferably here in Alamogordo.
