Campus hours for the week of December 17 – 21 will be 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Townsend Library Holiday Hours
These are the current times for the Townsend Library during the holidays.
- Saturday, December 15th – Sunday, December 16th: CLOSED
- Monday, December 17th – Friday, December 21st: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Saturday, December 22nd – Tuesday, January 1st: CLOSED
- Wednesday, January 2nd – Friday, January 4th: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Saturday, January 5th – Sunday, January 6th: CLOSED
- Monday, January 7th – Friday, January 11th: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Saturday, January 12th – Sunday, January 13th: CLOSED
- Monday, January 14th – Wednesday, January 116th: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Regular Semester hours will resume Thursday, January 17th at 7:45 am.

NMSU-A THTR 105 Acting Class Presentations
NMSU-A THTR 105 Acting Class will present original monologues and short scripts on Tuesday, Dec. 11, at 7:30 pm at the Rohovec Theatre on the campus. All material is suitable for family viewing, and admission is free, although cash donations for Animal Village NM will be taken. For more information, call Diana at 439-3670.
Holiday Giving Opportunities
Burrrrr. Winters can be cold and holidays can be lonely for many in our community.
Non-Exempt Consortium has chosen to support two charities this holiday season.
1. - Salvation Army. We will place collection boxes in various locations around campus. As in the past, we encourage all faculty and staff planning on attending the NMSU-A Holiday Potluck to bring nonperishable items to donate as their “ticket” for the day as well!
Donation Boxes – November 19th to December 14th.
Holiday Potluck – December 13th – 11:30 am to 1:30 pm
2. – Assisted Living Facilities (Casa Arena & Betty Dare). There will be a box available for donations of new lap blankets and/or new twin bed blankets. Cash donations will also be accepted if you do not have time for shopping. Just drop your donation by Dona’s office at the VPSS Office.

End-of-Semester Student Organization Awards Ceremony
The Alamogordo Student Government will host the End-of-Semester Student Organization Awards Ceremony on Thursday, December 6, 2012, at 12:00 noon on the CB Patio. At this event, NMSU-A Student Organizations and their members will be recognized for their campus activities and community involvement.
NMSU-A Student Organizations:
Lunch will be provided by Tia Lupe’s Restaurant. All students are welcome to attend.
Annual Student Art Show
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 6
4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Pro Tech Building
On Thursday, December 6th from 4:00 – 7:00 pm, NMSU-A will host its Annual Student Art Show, featuring student work from fine art, ceramics, photography, digital graphics, and animation programs. A formal presentation of student artwork will be shown in the Art Exhibition Lab located in the Pro Tech building next to the main lobby where the main reception will be held. The Campbell Art building studio will be open to review student artwork as well.
Light refreshments will be available.
