On Friday, November 22nd, from 6:30—9:00 p.m. in TE 128 in the Technical Education Building, Take Back the Night Alamogordo is hosting a viewing of the film Sleeping with the Enemy starring Julia Roberts. This event will be held in support of COPE.

For admission, people can donate at least one of the following high need items: used cell phone, AAA batteries, new underwear, bras, big bottles of shampoo or conditioner, socks for women, deodorant, hairbrush, comb, hairdryer, alarm clock, kids’ pajamas, socks, school clothes, coats, back pack, loose leaf paper, pens, pencils, notebook, ruler, or erasers.

After the movie, Perry Lawson, Community Education and Outreach Director at COPE, will give a brief talk and answer questions about domestic violence in our community.

If you are going out of town Friday or don’t have an interest in seeing the movie, please consider money or donating an item. COPE would be most appreciative! You can leave donations with Erin O. Armendarez in the LTC.
