Faculty & Staff Awards were given out at the Fall Retreat on Friday, August 22nd. The recipients were:
- Bill Lockhart (Excellence in Teaching by Regular Faculty for Spring 2008 Term)
- Debra Sanchez (Excellence in Teaching by Temporary Faculty for Spring 2008 Term)
- Diane Lopez & Grace White (Outstanding Non-Exempt Staff Award for 2007-08)
- Dan Kammer (Outstanding Exempt Staff Award for 2007-08)
Congratulations y’all, and thanks to everyone who made these awards possible.
Campus Meeting & Retreat
August 14, 2008
The Annual Faculty & Staff Fall Meeting will be held on Friday, August 22nd, at Noon in the Rohovec Building. Cheri will be giving the State of the Campus Address.
The Retreat will be the same day and begins at 5:30 PM in the Tays Center. Marbec will cater the main course (chicken, brisket, rice, salad, drinks). Please bring either a side dish or dessert and, of course, your families. If you don’t want to make a dish, you can donate $10 per family. RSVP to Mary Fechner no later than Aug 15, stating what you will be bringing or if you will be donating. If bringing a dish, please remember to bring a serving spoon or spatula.
As last year, the fall retreat is a social event where we gather as family and friends to relax and celebrate the beginning of a new academic year.
