About the CFF Foundation Education Award

CFF is proud to offer quarterly awards to university and college students!

This scholarship will be awarded to a citizen or a Permanent Resident of the United States who is enrolled and taking classes at an accredited college or university in the United States.

CFF will grant selected applicants a $1,500 financial award for their compelling essays on fishing, outdoors and adventure activities.

Award: Each quarter, 1 student will be awarded a $1,500 scholarship.

Application Dates:

  • 1st Quarter – Award recipient is announced by mid-April, for all applications submitted from January 1 through March 30.
  • 2nd Quarter – Award recipient is announced by mid-July, for all applications submitted from April 1 through June 30.
  • 3rd Quarter – Award recipient is announced by mid-October, for all applications submitted from July 1 through September 30.
  • 4th Quarter – Award recipient is announced by mid-January, for all applications submitted from October 1 through December 31.

Eligibility

  • You must be a US citizen studying in the USA.
  • You must be enrolled and taking classes at an accredited college or university in the United States.
  • Students of all majors are encouraged to apply!

How to Apply:

You can submit your application via the CFF Foundation Education Award Application Form.

To apply, write an essay (up to 1500 words) focusing on one of the essay questions on the form.

Rest assured that we will not sell any personal info you send to us.

Judging Criteria: The CFF Foundation Education Award committee will review the submissions to select the winner of the award. The submissions will be evaluated using three main criteria:

  • Overall quality (content, structure, readability, and grammar)
  • Scope, and depth of the answer to the essay question
  • Creativity and originality

Selection and Notification: The CFF Foundation Education Award committee will review all submissions and the award winner will be notified via email. Potential award winners are subject to verification by the award committee.

CFF Foundation Education Award committee’s decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the administration, operation, selection of the potential award winners and other matters related to the award.

A Check for the $1500 award will be sent directly to your college.

Digital Rights Agreement: By submitting an application to this award, you agree that all your essay and content submissions will become the property of CFF and may be used in marketing materials, reposted or displayed online in whole or partial form without notification.

Game Authority acknowledges how important gaming is in the learning experience. As games have progressed in recent years so has its use across many industries, as well as in education.

Games and simulation programs are used in education from kindergarten all the way to post-graduate exams and career practice. We understand today, that people have different learning styles and we often benefit from strong visuals as well as building our muscle memory. Not only do games provide relaxation outside the classroom but they also promote incredible logical thinking skills, coordination skills, as well as an understanding of coding and digital practice – a skill that is going to become ever-prominently needed in the future.

Are you an undergraduate student that is using gaming or simulation programs to better your education in your studies? We’d love to hear how it’s advancing your learning experience and setting you up for success. If you think you can take on the challenge, please elaborate on your educational gaming experience in an essay! The student that best expresses their thoughts will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship.

Additional Scholarship Details:

  • Winning candidate will be selected by a panel of judges from GameAuthority.
  • The scholarship is available on a yearly basis and is non-renewable.

That’s right! The Live Más Scholarship is not based on your grades or how well you play sports. No essays, no test scores, no right or wrong answers. We’re looking for the next generation of innovators, creators and dreamers who want to make a difference in the world.

In 2019, the Taco Bell Foundation will award $4 million in Live Más Scholarships. $1 million will be awarded through our new applicant program, $2.25 million through our renewal program for previous recipients, and $750,000 through our program for Taco Bell restaurant employees.

The Community Foundation of Southwest Kansas Scholarship Program reflects a direct effort to recognize and reward those students who have demonstrated consistent and outstanding academic achievement in high school and college and tend to be a worthy student of good character.

Children between the ages of 16-26 whose veteran parent was killed in action or died as a result of their wounds incurred in battle, qualify for a full tuition waiver at any state funded post-secondary school. A $150 stipend, per semester, will be issued to help with books or fees.

Criteria

  • Must be a continuing or re-admitted NMSU-A student with a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA and must have earned 12 or more NMSU credits (must not have earned 70 or more credits including transfer credits)
  • Must enroll in a minimum of 6 credits or more at the NMSU-A campus
  • Must be a New Mexico resident

Second Semester Renewal Policy

  • Must maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA
  • Must enroll in a minimum of 6 or more NMSU-A credits

Re-application Policy
Students may re-apply for the following year provided that they have maintained a minimum 2.5 cumulative NMSU GPA and have not earned 70 or more credits including transfer credits.

The Grace UMC Endowment Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of applications for the Tharp Educational, Kiel Bonnell, Dr. Joe & Zoe Emanuel, and J.E.T. Scholarships. Scholarships are open to qualifying graduating high school seniors and current full-time college students in Otero County.

Applications are available on the church website, (site address on front page) from menu under “Ministries & Missions” select “Scholarships.”
