Posted April 14, 2009 by admin
English 363, Literature for Children and Young Adults, will be offered here at NMSU-A, Summer I. The class will meet from 5:30-9:15 on Monday and Wednesday nights. The course focuses on classic texts of children’s literature as well as the historical and political forces that work to shape literature written with children as the target audience. Students can expect lively discussions, films, papers and presentations, and a good amount of reading. English 363 is required for the Elementary Education degree, and that is why Professor Roark-Diehl has been offering it every summer since 2000. Stop by the HSSE building to get a flyer with details and the book list.
