Background
Bryan Yancey received a Master of Fine Arts at Claremont Graduate School, Claremont, CA (1983); Bachelor of Arts at Humboldt State University, Arcata, CA; and an Associate of Arts at Cypress College, Cypress, CA. He served as Art Division Chair at Midland Lutheran College, Fremont, NE and taught Ceramics, Sculpture, Graphic Design, Advertising Design and Computer Illustration for eleven years. Other teaching experience includes Sawyer College, Ventura, CA and Watterson College, Camarillo, CA. He came to NMSU-A as Division Head of the Professional Occupations, Technologies and Fine Arts Division in July 2004.
Bryan’s work is exhibited in the Fred Marer Collection, Los Angeles, CA and the Museum of Nebraska Art, Kearney, NE. He has been published in Clay Times, Ceramics Monthly, L. A. Times Gold Coast Section and the L. A. Times Calendar Section.
