2019 Community College Round-up

You are invited to come to NMSU Alamogordo September 27th and 28th for Round-up 2019! Join your colleagues on our campus in the beautiful Tularosa Basin to exchange ideas, stimulate learning and promote unique and useful teaching skills.

Our theme, “Pasando Por Aquí: Passing Through Here”, is inspired by Eugene Manlove Rhodes’ famous Western novel Pasó Por Aquí. Rhodes lifted his title from Juan de Oñate’s 1605 carving in *The Living Rock of El Morro, NM.

We use the phrase “Pasando Por Aquí” as a tribute to all who journey through the community college system.

Participants are invited to share ways they prepare students, faculty and staff to be successful in their educational and life journeys.

We have rooms reserved at the Hampton Inn Alamogordo, 1295 Hamilton Road, 575.439.1782. See the Hotels link under “Alamogordo Information” below. Just tell them you are with the NMSU Community College Round-up when you reserve your room. Lots going on in Alamogordo that weekend, so we advise you to book your rooms early!

First proposal considerations begin June 1.
