Phone Outage

Dear Campus Community,

NMSU Alamogordo is experiencing temporary phone issues. We are unable to dial out and individuals from off-campus are unable to call in. We are working on this issue and hope to have it resolved soon.

If you need to contact a department, please navigate to their web page, and then locate their contact information in the page (or sidebar menu) and contact them directly via email or contact form.

Service Learning

Service learning is a teaching and learning approach that integrates community service with academic study to enrich learning, teach civic responsibility, and strengthen communities. While participating in service learning at New Mexico State University-Alamogordo, students will be called upon to demonstrate mastery of our Institutional Learning Outcomes. Thus students will learn skills in the areas:
  1. Critical thinking
  2. Communication and literacy
  3. Technology
  4. Mathematics
  5. Scientific inquiry
  6. Diversity and ethical principles
