  • Must be a high school senior with a 2.5 cumulative high school GPA or have a GED score of 600 or higher or HiSET score of 50 or higher.
  • Must enroll in 12 or more NMSU-A credit hours.
  • Must be a New Mexico resident who will graduate from a New Mexico high school or receive a New Mexico GED or HiSET.
  • Home schooled students will have to take the New Mexico GED or HiSET to qualify for this scholarship.
  • This scholarship will pay ONLY for classes taken at the Alamogordo campus. It will not cover any classes taken at other campuses.

Application for Scholar Dollar$ opens October 1st for the following academic year and recommended submission date is March 1st. Application is opened year round.

Amount: $500 (2 available)

  • Must be a degree-seeking female student enrolled at NMSU-Alamogordo.
  • Must have completed at least 12 college credit hours and have had at least one semester break at some point in her college attendance.
  • Must be enrolled in no fewer than six semester hours (online classes accepted).
  • Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the most recent 12 hours of college credit. This must be documented by an official transcript from the Registrar’s Office or an internet copy containing the official letter stating it is a certified valid transcript.
  • Must be able to give brief description of financial need.
  • Must be a citizen of the United States.

That’s right! The Live Más Scholarship is not based on your grades or how well you play sports. No essays, no test scores, no right or wrong answers. We’re looking for the next generation of innovators, creators and dreamers who want to make a difference in the world.

In 2019, the Taco Bell Foundation will award $4 million in Live Más Scholarships. $1 million will be awarded through our new applicant program, $2.25 million through our renewal program for previous recipients, and $750,000 through our program for Taco Bell restaurant employees.

At Bookmundi, we are passionate about seeing dreams come to fruition. We assist young people planning their dream vacation and hear the incredible life changing effects it has on them.

We would love to contribute to an undergraduate travel-enthusiast student’s education with a scholarship.

Scholarship Amount: $1000


  • All applicants must be enrolled, or due to be enrolled, as a full-time student at an accredited college or university for the semester they are applying to receive the scholarship.
  • Applicants are not required to have a minimum GPA.
  • Domestic, international, and undocumented students are eligible to apply.

  • Please write a 1,000 to 1,500 word essay answering the following questions:
    • What is your dream vacation?
    • What has inspired this trip?
    • Would you take anyone on your vacation with you? If yes, who?
    • Using the tools available on Bookmundi, plan out some of the tours you would take on your trip. What made these tours stand out to you?
  • Please provide proof of enrollment in an accredited college or university. A transcript, tuition receipt, or acceptance letter will be accepted.

Requirements for eligibility

  • Rising college freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors who plan to or are currently pursuing undergraduate majors in finance, business, or similar fields
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age
  • Awards may only be used for undergraduate study at two-year or four-year universities located in the United States
  • The Award may be used for tuition, housing, textbooks, or other college-related expenses

Children between the ages of 16-26 whose veteran parent was killed in action or died as a result of their wounds incurred in battle, qualify for a full tuition waiver at any state funded post-secondary school. A $150 stipend, per semester, will be issued to help with books or fees.


  • Must be a continuing or re-admitted NMSU-A student with a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA and must have earned 12 or more NMSU credits (must not have earned 70 or more credits including transfer credits)
  • Must enroll in a minimum of 6 credits or more at the NMSU-A campus
  • Must be a New Mexico resident

The Grace UMC Endowment Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of applications for the Tharp Educational, Kiel Bonnell, Dr. Joe & Zoe Emanuel, and J.E.T. Scholarships. Scholarships are open to qualifying graduating high school seniors and current full-time college students in Otero County.
